Common name: Dwarf Anubias
Family: Araceae.
Origin: Tropical West and Central Africa.
Characteristics: The shortest of the Anubias,
has small roundish leaves.
Temperature: 20-30 degs C.
ph: 6-8
Planting: Does best fastened to driftwood,
or large rock. Can also be planted in the
gravel, care must however be taken to ensure
the rhizome is not buried; only the roots.
Lighting: Subdued light is recommended, strong lighting
encourages the growth of algae in the leaves.
Reproduction: Mainly by rhizome cuttings. New off-shoots
develop off the mother plant.
In the wild Anubias flower and produce seeds.
Sold as: Rooted.
